It performs the tuna repertoire, fado, and Portuguese traditional music — three studio albums, in-house festivals, and stages from Portugal to Brazil. A black ribbon passed from generation to generation.
Amália Rodrigues, our “Tia”, was named an Honoris Causa member in 1994. That bond lives on in a sentence carried across generations.
